Pros & Cons
Pros
The 14-inch diameter cast-iron pan is perfect for cooking large meals. The extra surface space is wonderful for being able to cook without crowding the pan. It is also big enough to cook multiple steaks at a time.
This skillet excels at searing, braising, maintaining consistent temperatures for stews, and even baking. This is an awesome skillet because it’s low sided which means that you can easily pan sear and fry without having to deal with a giant cast-iron ... Read More
It has a slick feeling, dark finish that is designed to be scrubbed if needed. The enameled exterior finish looks nice.
I love how approachable rr cookware is. I love that it can be used on the stove and then straight into the oven and it can withstand broiling as well. Great for cooking burgers, browning roasts, baking buttermilk biscuits.
Cons
It is a coated 12 cast iron pan, but, it does not act like an old fashioned castiron pan.

This is definitely on the higher end price tag at $180 for a 14 inch skillet.
I feel that it is a great value.

Amazon dropped off a huge box that felt like it weighed a hundred pounds and i tried to think about what it could be.
Very overpackaged for shipping which is something that i would like to see addressed.
Packaging was nice, so it could be considered giftable.
Competitiveness
I wouldn’t expect anything less with this well-known brand and it shows with quality and the price tag.
Comparing this to my lodge pans it's on par, i'd say.
For performance, i'm comparing this to my lodge cast irons.
