Pros

Rachio 3 controller qualified for the rebate and fit my budget. There are certain juristictions that will provide a rebate for an upgrade to this type of sprinker controller.

The rachio is smart so it skips rain days, adjusts for seasonality, and it communicates so you know what is happening. The app is super flexible, allowing any watering pattern you can imagine.

The layout is intuitive. The faceplate is held on by magnets.

The app on my iphone makes programming sprinkler schedules easy. The user interface is the only drawback. The scheduling is much better and the app is more user friendly.

Cons
