Pros
Sound is excellent. The stereo with ear buds on is exceptional. Super audio quality and reception. The sound from this little radio is exceptionally good and clear.
Great shortwave reception. Has all the features i need for travelling around.
I purchased this for my dad as a father's day gift. He is very happy with this gift but wishes the instructions were more detailed. Had a bit of trouble with the instructions but getting there.
Nice a little radio for everyday use, specially offroad when use extra antenna. The radio performs as advertised.
It pulls in the same stations that i can get compared to my sony and wedsdr. Fm - local stations come in very clear. Picked up some sw at night of different language.
Cons
When changing bands there is a super loud pop in the headphone. The pop is so loud that 30 minutes later my ears are still ringing. It's actually second unit i bought, and has similar issue.
Highlights
Quality
From first moment is great surprise, works like magic with easiness, excellent sound quality, selections, options.
Dsp radios are prone to these internal generated noise from the chip and my radio had an annoying pulse chirp right on my favorite station.
The biggest problem is battery drain while shut off.
No additional antenna used, only the one attached to the radio.
Price
For a shortwave radio at that price, its well worth it.
Inexpensive,with good sound on am, fm and the air band.
For the price (wait for it to go on sale) this is a good radio to have.
So overall, for the money, this is a great little radio.
Shipping
Vendor shipped quickly and it was well packed.
Arrived relatively quickly and in good condition.
If you want it quick then amazon if you can wait weeks and want it a bit cheaper you can get from china direct.
Lw - no stations found and haven't put any real effort into finding them.
Packaging/appearance
Smaller than expected but i’m very pleased with it.
The sihuadon came ready to enjoy right out of the box, (i didn't need to supply a battery or anything else).

My only way to judge is to compare it to my old sony and to local websdr servers.
It pulls in the same stations that i can get compared to my sony and wedsdr.

The stenciled labels on the buttons are very small and not easy for older eyes but once you learn the layout of things it doesnt really matter

Lots of stations coming in on the main bands but not much on sw and have to work on the air band
