It works instantly but its not long term solution and i would suggest buying the liquid gels and gel to place it wherever you saw cockroaches like under the sink back of refrigerator and all corners of the house

You do have to shield it from the view of the insects if they see it they run

Had to take away a star tho because the scent is definitely not lemon and it permeates through the entire apartment

I read reviews so before i opened the plastic wrap i left it in the garage for a few hours and inspected them visually before opening some people said it blew up on their face but there’s also a not “do not open” haha so to make sure nothing was puncture and could explode
