Used this to try and reduce appearance of a cracked pane of glass in a terrarium. Have been using that kit few times through the years and never faulted. The end result is obviously dependent on the type and severity of the chip.

The hardest part was scraping the excess resin off with a blade.
It's a temporary solution, but it can still give you a good few months until windscreen repair is a must.

Edit i checked the repair after a couple of hours and its now completely invisible i also used some resin and a piece of the film to repair a chip in the glass on my watch which was caused by welding spatter it has filled it in really well and is only visible if you look closely at the right angle

I believe that the effect will be better if the construction is carried out when the sky is clear and the uv light is abundant
