Pros
The only downside is the boiler design. It seems like i refill it every few days. It sets the desired temperature of both the brewing water and the steam.
This espresso machine is amazing. It makes the best tasting cappuccino i've ever had. Froths milk excellent but took me several tries to perfect the technique.
If the grinder gets mucked up, you'll still have your machine. Your grind time tamp etc. Takes a while to get it down.
The sylvia pro steams the milk much faster than the gaggia pro. The steam wand is jet engine powerful. It heats up extremely quickly and the steamer is very robust in its function.
The sylvia pro is the best pro-sumer machine on the market. The machine works beautifully and is well constructed, definitely not a toy like so many machines you see at retailers.

Our first one lasted about 8 years and was great so we went with the version with electronic temp this time.

We couldn’t afford for everyone to visit our local coffee shop 1-2x per day so we bought this basic machine.
For sure but at this price point, it's going to be hard to beat this one.
