As with any monopod you have to avoiding using them in low light or at night because any slight movement can affect the shot

Just a tip because even though i own a decent camera nikon d5300 the slightest movement can ruin a good picture in low light

You might be better off using a tripod in those conditions

The grease they use on the tripod leg cams and ball head is rather sticky if you get it on your fingers

There is no way to lock the vertical or horizontal setting of the ball head independently therefore this head would not be good for shooting video
