This is a well made well thought out sun shade it attaches to the sides of top and bottom of the phone leaving the sides free for the camera mount on the controller

I understand that this is to be expected but it is sometimes difficult to tap certain parts of the screen because of how close the shade is to the actual touchscreen

It works better with it on than off on a sunny day but no matter what you do you will still have a hard time seeing your screen when flying your drone
