If the bottom were aluminum instead of plastic it would not help with the heat since the top and bottom are only connected through the cross bolts that hold the sandwich together and that’s a poor conduction path

It should have an insert to cover the 40pin connector and this is a big deal although i feel a little silly saying that about a 7 aluminum case that is this good this useful

I suspect it’s effectiveness since it has so little mass but i haven’t used my pi02w enough yet to tell if this size heatsink can keep up

If came with a cover for the gpio the entire board would be protected against accidental shorting

Hardest part was getting the protective paper off the acrylic it assembled very easily but didnt come with instructions
