Pros & Cons
Pros
New under lighting on the mouse (just makes it look nicer) great improvement over the older razer basilisk ultimate. Replaced my g502 without a single hiccup. Logitech has started using optical switches with the g502x.
It uses the razer central app for configuration. Specially when working with photoshop or other desing programs it is very usefull. Great mouse for productivity and zipping through code websites, and documents. The razor synapse program runs very well... Read More
Amazing weight, ergonomics and overall feel. Thumb rest is a 10/10 btw.
The high resolution sensor is truly fantastic, precise and smooth. The shape of the mouse is quite comfortable and the grippy texture feels great. This thing is a beast so smooth and fast.
Cons
Razer basilisk v3 pro is a terrible controller for all razer peripherals. Synapse (their application for recognizing, updating, and customizing their products) is a buggy, unstable mess on windows and entirely unusable on mac os. Considerable amount o... Read More
Software rarely recognizes this mouse on startup. Changes static rgb to rainbow spectrum on a random tuesday for no reason. Replaces custom profiles with copies of the default profile--ultimately defeating the purpose of the names you granted to your ... Read More
I can not justify spending another hundred dollars after deciding to buy this poorly made mouse. It is not worth the money! Very disappointed in razer.
In infinite scroll mode, the mouse wheel sometimes scrapes on something in the mouse, making the wheel stop. The freespin scroll wheel is garbage. It scrolls down.

The battery doesn't last a week, perhaps, a few work days.
Already cruising not even sure how anyone uses 30,000 dpi.
Price
If you're a serious gamer (or even just a casual clicker like me), the razer basilisk v3 pro is worth every penny.
Overall said paying $160 for a mouse is a bit crazy but worth every penny.
You're paying a massive premium in this case, but i don't mind the cost given how much time i spend using it.
Competitiveness
Ironclaw is a better design for the biggest hands if you're shopping with that in mind- especially if you're a palm gripper - b... Read More
For context, its almost as good as one of the heavier logitech mx master scroll wheels.
The scroll wheel is less resistant (when not on hyperscroll) than logitech models.

I have pretty long fingers so if someone has a smaller hand this might not be as comfortable to use
