Pros

Basilisk is slightly heavier with puck installed. First time owning a mouse that has a free spin mode. I like the rubber grip on the side.

Cons

The mouse feels cheap and tacky because of the main focus obviously being rgb lighting. Razer synapse is hard to navigate, confusing to use, and fails to save important things like lighting properties. The left mouse button just over 1 mth only looks ...  Read More

This is ridiculous. At this point it seems like they're just wasting my time hoping that i give up. Bought product jan 20,2021 and had to replace with different brand on december 29,2023.

This is disappointing because i am expecting the onboard memory to remember my custom profile including rgb. Researched to try and fix it but no success.

The scroll wheel is broken after only a few months. Every 4 or 5 ticks when scroll up, it scrolls down one time, very weird. The only way to get the * back to normal again is to close synapse and re-open it to get side-scrolling feature back.

Quality

So far so good, seems good and durable and matches up nicely with his new gaming keyboard as well ( see other reviews)

Good and solid mouse, love the button customization, good tactile buttons and scroll wheel

Won’t open sometimes, freezes, and i often have to uninstall and reinstall it when i add a new razer product to my setup.

While the dpi settings will stay programmed in the mouse, the lighting doesn't work without the software running the background.

Price

This gaming mouse is a fair choice for its price.

There is zero reason a mouse should cost over $100, let alone $200 and some change.

I've been trying to sell it super cheap for a month now but no one seems to want a used one so it doesn't retain value very well.

At this price point, should really have a disconnect point at the mouse itself imo.

Competitiveness

I wore out my logitech g502 (many years/hours of gaming) so that is what i am comparing this to.

I switched to the logitech g pro x wireless superlight.

It does lack scroll wheel tilt, but it at least does not have scroll wheel wobble unlike the logitech variant (g502).
