Pros & Cons
Pros
If you're looking for a headset around $130, the v2 hyperspeed is a great alternative to this. The built-in mic quality is great for a wireless headset, one of the best you can get for this price point.
The razer blackshark v2 pro delivers robust low to mid bass, balanced mids, and crisp treble in gaming and action-packed media. The only downfall is i would like it to be slightly louder than it achieve. Mic sounds great for my friends and it performs... Read More
The sound quality is excellent – crisp and detailed, even in stereo mode. The mic is very clear and everyone said i sound like i'm a dj on the radio lol.
These headphones are outstanding in stereo mode with thx completely off. These aren’t audiophile headphones designed for critical listening to music, but they do sound quite good for wireless headphones. These headphones also feature a wideband microp... Read More
The plush, breathable fabric adds to the comfort. Even the adjustment design is gentle and effortless. The substantial weight can be tiring over extended sessions.
Cons
The real issue is the plastic hinge that connects the headband to the earphone yoke. This is not the kind of durability i expect on 200$ headphones. Would avoid razer headphones, it looks like they use the same design on all headphones, even the 35$ o... Read More
The noise floor on this headset is impossible to separate from the actual audio signal. Switching between games, browser or discord causes the device to struggle with the dynamic switching and it does not know which sound to prioritize. The wireless t... Read More
They ask some boilerplate questions about if you dropped the product or if you use hair products. Seems misleading. This will be the last time i purchase their brand.
Contacting razer customer service is a grueling and unhelpful process. They are not interested in resolving the issue.

Great for games, comfortable, decently light weight (though not as light as the hyperspeed) good audio quality.
The sound quality is so crisp and i do not have any issue with microphone.
While this should result in brighter, clearer audio, the headset falls short when reproducing music, podcasts, and dialogue-hea... Read More

I got these for my 19 year old son to use with his xbox and he says they are badda$$!

Competitiveness
I am comparing these razer blackshark v2 pro wireless headphones for myself and for my husband who is a gamer.
Its semi-open back drivers deliver exceptional sound quality, second only to the audeze maxwell in this comparison.
So you get less for your money than the pc version by getting the “xbox” version/branding, although cost is similar.
While the latency improvement over microsoft’s own xbox headset is noticeable, it’s not significantly better than other competi... Read More

I will say that the issue with the thx audio is just that it works sometimes and other times you have to restart the razer software for it to work again
