Pros & Cons
Pros
The 2019 blackwidow's body has a sturdy matte black plastic finish with minimal/no flex when you try to bend the keyboard. The lighting of the keyboard for me is overkill, but it lights up very well and makes it easy to orient your hands on the keyboa... Read More
Razer synapse, the software you'll need to access a lot of lighting features, is a mixed bag. One of the coolest features is the custom lighting profiles you get when you play certain games. The dial for tuning the volume is the only real problem.

Competitiveness
Bought this with razer's yellow linear switches.
Really good for gaming, and satisfying for typing too with them nice clicky switches ;)
Go with a regular blackwidow, or a different company.
The arrow keycap surfaces have started to wear away.
