The microphone is clear nut not suitable for anything other than teamspeak or skype.
This isn't really a new prolem for razer products and hence razer's warranties are very good.

The sound quality is very versatile in all aspects gaming music etc however i would not reccomend it for professional music editing as there are better headsets on the market for that however if you are like me who is a all round user of games music films etc then this headset should serve you well

When i use it on skype it seems oversensitive but i think that may be a problem with my skype settings i rarely use skype as opposed to mumble or ventrillo

The build quality of this headset is excellent though it seems a bit flimsy so if you drop it it may break but that applies to most headsets anyway and if you bust it then theres no way you can blame the headset for that
