Quality
The built quality, material, and the design is great!
This enclosure has better build quality compares to others and easy to install gpu.
I tried to use the one that comes with the mbp 16 and it didn't work.
The msi was running an rtx 2060 and worked when we tested the core x with a gtx 1080 but did not work at all with the rtx 3070.
Shipping
It was just left to slip in slide during shipping apparently, suprisingly though it appears unaffected and works fine.
Packaging/appearance
But i was pleasantly surprised when all i had to do was plug a tb3 cable into the the razer core x.

Packaging was on point, delivery was quick within 8 days from usa to kenya.
I was thinking i would need to use some kind of hdmi switch to change from the egpu back to my on-board graphics.
Competitiveness
Works fairly well with my 2017 (non touchbar) macbook pro for bootcamp.
I will update this thread after a few weeks of using my egpu setup.
I did not buy on amazon (got a bundle card and egpu from ebay).
This is not a criticism of razer's product, just a technical gotcha warning.

I will say my computer wont boot with it plugged in so i have to unplug it and then plug it back in after the operating system boots but i imagine that is specific to my configuration

Any egpu enclosure can run into issues if you dont follow the preparation instructions carefully
