Pros & Cons
Cons
Windows driver for asmedia hub crashes frequently and needs to be reinstalled to get going again. The ethernet port is absolutely not supported in macos. Support is also very slow and needs constant chasing.
Highlights
Quality
This is an excellent egpu really well built and very quiet with the gpu i was using.
This particular e-gpu is quiet, powerful and smart looking with great rgb.
This e-gpu gets around that using the thunderbolt port, however you'll only be using half the new pci-e cards raw power.
Install was easy, install a graphics card, plug in to usbc done and dusted.
Packaging/appearance
Obviously the whole package wouldn't fit but i managed to swap the psu for a corsair 1000 watt one and get the card in no trouble.
Competitiveness
They just don't make any better gpus than what's installed.
