Quality

I went with the deathadder blacd due to its price point, its usage by professional gamers, and the simple rubberized finish.

I have nothing negative to say about this product.

I have only had it about a week and due to the many negative reviews about the quality, i chose to purchase a 2-year warranty.

If you want a rubberized finish for more grip, then i'd go with the original or 2013 edition.

Price

This price was enough to overcome any misgivings i had considering some poor reviews i'd read regarding razer products in general.

Price is something displayed and obvious, not hidden.

It'd be nice if it were $15-20 less, but the base price is comparable to other quality mice from different manufacturers.

Packaging/appearance

My only complaint is the seemingly jittery sensitivity out of the box.

Competitiveness

I saved some money against the regular deathadder, and something i prefer!

Maybe i have really acidic, oily hands or something but it's kind of a bummer to see wear on a brand-new mouse.

It seems like the majority of razer's mice are led-philic, but this one is offered in plain black.
