Pros & Cons
Pros
The cord is light and flexible. The scroll wheel is fine, it is the feature of pressing the scroll wheel that is a weak switch.
For anyone not looking to blow a ton of money to have a high performing mouse, this is it! This mouse costs less than a hundred dollars and performs very well. My one criticism is that the msrp ($70) is insane.
Openrazer and polychromatic are required to control this mouse and other razer products on linux. Free software lets you customize the mouse to your liking whether that’s changing the color, the dpi, etc. Very responsive, and can definitely hit the 20... Read More
The razer deathadder gaming mouse is my choice for mmorpg. It’s one of the top choice for gamers. It's nice that you can program combos into one button for certain games.
My only gripe is the flare on the right click feels a little too big to me.
Cons
This mouse has one major flaw that's an absolute deal breaker - the left/right mouse click triggers are way too sensitive. Not having tilt clicks adds too much rigidity to the middle mouse button.
If you close the tool, or even just lock your computer, the mouse reverts back to default rainbow-cycling state. I gave up because i didn't want to deal with any other frustrating issue cropping up.
The software is a little confusing upon downloading.

I've heard that razer's quality control has been lacking, but this issue is practically out of the box.
Price
I got it new for $30 on sale, which is a great price.
Plus when you get it on sale, the price is good!
Packaging/appearance
First, let's get the main thing out of the way.
Competitiveness
This mouse is decently priced for a gaming mouse but it stacks up well against more expensive competition.
Two year warranty on the item, compared to logitech's 3 years, hopefully it won't be needed.
I swapped to this from a g502.
It performs exceptionally well with my pc computer.
