Pros & Cons
Pros
The * are very responsive and quiet. The optical switches make a noticeable difference in terms of latency. It's one of the top choice for gamers.
This chroma v2 seems fine, like they all started out, with the exception that it would slide out of my grasp as i picked it up to reposition. Bar none. High dpi. The mouse works with synapse 3 as well.
Rubber on the wheel gives it a nice tactile feel. It glides easily on the mat also. The scroll wheel is fine, it is the feature of pressing and clicking the scroll wheel that is a weak switch. I appreciate the textured rubber on the mouse wheel, which... Read More
Cons
Manufacturers need to stop using gimmicky materials. I recommend against purchasing this product until razer can regain its quality control.
It consumes too much resource in background just for nothing. No offline options.
Despite being a big, heavy(ish) solid mouse, it glides like it's a greased pig on a slip and slide. Even though this solves the lag issue with the mouse, all the lighting goes back to default. The mouse moves extremely slow periodically.

I wanted something that had bluetooth, decent battery life and good tracking but i didn't want to spend more than $50.
I should have stopped buying cheap mice long ago and just went for something a little more expensive.
Competitiveness
This is particularly a problem with logitech and g mice.
Its closest cousins are the logitech g603, logitech mx600, or the microsoft intellimouse.
But it also has a better button feel than all of those, particularly the intellimouse.
