The razer goliathus chroma is a high-quality soft gaming mouse mat. Highly recommend to any gamer looking for a reliable and stylish gaming accessory.
Bought as a christmas present for my 18 year old. This fits the bill. Bought it at a discount, highly recommend for that price.
No drag, the mouse glides on it seamlessly. Does slide around a little bit but that can easily be solved by buying the non slip nets to go under it.
The stitching is perfect around the edge and the over all texture of the mat is spot on. It lies 100% flat, with no wrinkles or folds. It is much thinner than i expected which is something that i rly like.
Cons
The light intensity around the perimiter is not even. Not just where the power is that has the most brightness. Overall, the rgb is not worth the money.

The lighting is consistant with no weak areas i tried the various software controlled lighting effects but ended up just turning the software off and letting its default colour cycle run

But given the poor reviews for lighting and grip on cheaper mats i guess i would rather have a brand i know than a cheapo thing i end up dumping a year later

There was a minor bump in the edge after unrolling so i left a heavy book on it overnight and its been deadflat ever since

The lighting is nice but its not flippable so the usb will always go on the left hand side if it matters to you

Razer synapse can be a bit of a pain so if you already have razer kit this makes a lot more sense if this would be your first just save yourself the hassle and money and get another brand
