Pros & Cons
Pros
Every keystroke feels just as smooth as the last. Multi-colors for the backlit keys, if possible. According to rtings, the input latency (which is the time it takes for a keystroke to be registered) between both g915 and razer huntsman v2 keyboards ar... Read More
The feel of the switches is great and the dampening makes the sound much quieter. I know it is a personal preference, and mine is not the clicky noise. The gen2 switches are amazing and the sound is much quieter than the v1.
Integrated wrist rest is very nice and makes the keyboard very ergonomic. I wish the wrist rest had a stronger magnet in it.
This is perfect for twitchy shooters like apex legends, halo infinite, or even valorant where split second decisions mater most. The 8k polling rate makes the keyboard one of the fastest to ever be produced. Wow this keyboard is unbelievable!
Cons
On the v2, many keys have non-uniform illumination.
Highlights
Quality
Because i liked my 60% razer so much, but needed the f keys back, i decided to go with the tkl 80% and i love it.
First, the initial build quality of razer products is insane the metal chassis and keycaps feel absolutely premium.
Expected better quality though for the price.
I did have alot of trouble with the software and the customer service is rough, they get back to you quick, but not very helpful.
Price
Price - i wasn't too comfortable with spending that type of cash for a keyboard.
I got it 10% but would totally pay full price.
Competitiveness
It being a tkl also give me much more room for my mouse.
Overall this keyboard met my expectations and replaced my steelseries apex pro tkl wireless.
I also have a steelseries apex pro tkl, and imo, this is a much much better keyboard.
The keycaps aren't pbt which is a downgrade vs many other keyboards on the market, but the caps do feel good to the touch.

The wrist rest makes this horrible creaking noise with almost every movement i make with my wrists the stabs are dry and loud lighting on some of the keycaps isnt too great oh and one more thing before i talk about the switches i really dont see a reason why they have stabs

They could have been mx style optical switches like gaterons but its this weird design thats pretty scary to those who are new to mechanical keyboards do not believe what reviewers tell you these keys wobble like any other keyboard

The stabs do absolutely nothing but make more noise for the keypress which brings me to the worst thing about this keyboard the rattle
