Pros

The integrated wrist rest is very nice and makes the keyboard very ergonomic. The luxurious leather-like cushiony wrist rest was also a nice add. The only thing better on the blackwidow elite is the palm rest.

The keyboard works with the synapse software to sync your profile across different computers. The material quality is phenomenal, and the rgb customizations are nearly limitless. The only complaint about the keyboard is the consistency of the lighting...  Read More

This is the nicest keyboard i have ever touched in my life. I am happy to say that the razer tkl has really impressed me a ton - with just a few caveats.

Sure, it's not a custom mechanical setup with exotic japanese switches, but it gives a premium enough feel.

This is better than ducky 1-2 or 1-3. Where my pulsar would sometimes register ghost stokes, this thing is dead-on. Visually it’s the same as the v1, with really good doubleshot pbt keycaps.

Cons

On the v2, many keys have non-uniform illumination.

Quality

Because i liked my 60% razer so much, but needed the f keys back, i decided to go with the tkl 80% and i love it.

Its very comfortable with the leather rest.

I did have alot of trouble with the software and the customer service is rough, they get back to you quick, but not very helpful.

That aside, the build quality is premium.

Price

Price - i wasn't too comfortable with spending that type of cash for a keyboard.

I got it 10% but would totally pay full price.

Packaging/appearance

The only thing better on the blackwidow elite is the palm rest.

Competitiveness

It being a tkl also give me much more room for my mouse.

Overall, if you want a competitive edge, with pbt keys that last, with a tkl form-factor, with an optional wrist-rest, don't he...  Read More

I also have a steelseries apex pro tkl, and imo, this is a much much better keyboard.

Some of razer's marketing images show bright halos around the keys, and some show none at all.
