Pros & Cons
Pros
There is just something about the clicky feel that makes gaming more enjoyable. It is responsive and it worked well, but i did not find it justifying a price higher than a console controller.
The feel is about as close as you can get to a full sized x1 controller without it being huge. It is very sturdy and doesn't have a cheap feel. While this controller may not be ergonomic for adult hands, it's far better than gaming on a touch screen t... Read More
Access to a headphone jack is very nice, as well as passthrough charging. My only gripe is that i can't use this with any case installed.
The * are very clicky which is nice. They give you way more * (good for emulation) than some of the first phone controllers. The controller also gives you some hints on the bottom right screen about which button to press.
The razer nexus app is easy to install and run through the setup menu. The nexus app has a lot of features and lists all the games you can install and play.
Cons
Even plugging the phone into this controller is a worse design because now you have to plug it in cockeyed just to fit it in place. I have to smush the controller inwards just to make it detect the phone. The razer nexus app barely even work.
My issue is once it's on and you try to toggle from cell game apps down to playstation games the kishi * refuse to work. Just gonna return it and try the backbone. Wouldn't power on or charge.
Grid autosport has controller support built into the game, but you cannot use tilt steering and are forced to use the joysticks if you enable the controller. Assoluto racing, though it's even worse as while braking is mapped to an analog r2, the throt... Read More
The kishi v2 itself seems okay but is basically worthless for sim mobile racing. That's even worse than using an on-screen slider. Is it a good value when my razer turret simply stops working after the same period?

Highlights
Quality
The ergonomic design fits comfortably in your hands, even during long gaming sessions.
This is a well designed controller accurate and fast reaction, easy to setup and support most of games.
The abxy buttons are clicky and tactile, not increadbly loud, but not quiet either.
All of the buttons have microswitches which is cool for a real game controller but completely unnecessary on something as casual as this.
Price
At that price it's a great option.
At a discounted price of ($60), and great features i choose the kishi v2.
I bought this product used because, you know, i wanted to save some money.
I got one of these used for around $40.
Packaging/appearance
Overall the unboxing, and build quality was a great experience.
Competitiveness
Also, for games like cod mobile controller and genshin impact the nexus software allows you to play those games using virtual t... Read More

Perhaps i'm missing a firmware update, or razer has one in the works, but they'll definitely need to figure out something if th... Read More
The razer nexus app is much better than the original kishi app, but you’ll probably never have a reason to use either of them.
