Pros & Cons
Pros
The lancehead tournament edition is a really good gaming mouse. The mouse is lightweight and the rubber grips are placed in optimal position. It is important to find a mouse with your grip style and this is perfect for a claw grip user. Do get a good ... Read More
Lancehead te is perfect for competitive gaming. Well built, durable. I admit i am a little bummed that the mercury/white set seems to be on the way out.
It has a 9 programmable * really neat for lefty and right. It also has really nice rgb that can be changed anytime. My only complaint is that the chroma preset changing button doesn't work for me.
Cons
If you are a gamer, this is horrible because it means that your attack/shoot key is in a frequent state of malfunction. Are very inset which means you can't use the side of your thumb to press * like the razer taipan.
Software is buggy. Support is horrible. Drivers are not dependable.
Corsair's icue is much better for all this. Will probably not go back to razor for anything. It pains me writing this review, because i have some other razer products that i really enjoy.
Highlights
Quality
The first thing i noticed was that it felt good in my hand, and the build material seems sturdy.
I like the rubber grips on the side and overall good quality.
After two years the switch on the scroll wheel has failed same fail mode as the previous razer mouse it lasted only three years
The thumb buttons on the this competitive version are stunningly small and feel cheap (mechanical switches, it claims.
Price
Grabbed the lancehead te on sale and am happy with it.
It didn't make me breakfast for costing $100 or whatever it was.
Though the price may be a bit high it is worth it.
Maybe a bit pricey just for a mouse, but, its good.
Packaging/appearance
As expected, box was more fuct than i imagined lol
Competitiveness
The size of the lancehead is smaller than some of their other models making it more ergonomic for smaller hands.
Not the best but not the worst on the market.

Glad i went with the lower model because the extra money only really appears to give you some rubbery texture on the mouse
