Pros
This produces truly impressive, deep, powerful bass and crisp high notes. Not hi fi quality per se but a good full sound. Surround is surprisingly good, especially when watching documentaries - movies.
It's a very good all rounder. That is when i remembered that razer did pc peripherals.
The sound and setup is great. Love the razer brand. I have a few razor products and they are all superb.
Cons
What should be crisp and textured becomes flat and thin. What is full and rounded becomes boomy and indistinct. Of the packaging is just empty space or fillers, which is so wasteful.
Real issue with this unit becomes apparent - the midrange. Lack of equalizer necessitate the use of a software equalizer. No visual indicator of subwoofer and master volume level.

As expected from razer, the sound quality is amazing!
Not sure it is really worth the money in terms of sound quality, the previous much cheaper speakers and subwoofer were fine.
I can deal with the cables, but no remote.
Packaging/appearance
Yes you can feel the quality in every aspect of the product from the cabling to the packaging (which i really loved).
Competitiveness
In terms of quality and usability compared to the competition this is second to none.
After all my hard looking i decided to buy the luxury pc brand.

Definitely wont let him crank up the volume beyond 10 until lockdown is over and his parents can get out of the house

This might not be a problem for some but ive got the sound bar mounted above my monitor and the power cable wasnt long enough to reach the ground where the socket was

However if youre only looking to use the optical cable i wouldnt bother as the optical port isnt great so it will not work 90 of the time

I bought it when i got my first gaming pc and found out that the monitor doesnt have built in speakers
