Pros & Cons
Pros
The sensor is great, the notched / free spinning wheel is great. The clicks feel good, and it smoothly glides across any type of mousepad. One changes the dpi which could be nice for someone who switches often. The adjustable scroll wheel is interesti... Read More
The side plate * are great because they are magnetic and are easily swapped out. The 2 button plate works great, but the 6 and 12 button plates don't work for osx. It has rgg lighting.
I just wish it was a little less pricey. Price point is what you would expect for a premium gaming mouse. Battery life is nice and lengthy.
Latency, comfort, responsiveness, and features all are *. No issues with razer's software or taking profiles on the go without said software. Connectivity seems fine. Can't wait to upgrade to the rgb pro version.
Comes with a little docking block to plug the wireless 2. Qi charging station. You have to purchase the 20 dollar puck that fits into the bottom of your mouse.
Cons
Naga pro v2 and dock v2 are not compatible with one another. I have no idea why they would bundle a mouse with a dock that isn't fully supported. This mouse is total trash.
The 12 button side panel has key switches that can only be described as intermittent at best. There is no good grip that allows me to lift and center the mouse. The only positive this mouse has is the ability to swap the side plate for different butto... Read More
Never purchasing from razer again. Not all the time but enough to be an annoyance. Nothing about this mouse makes it truly stand out from the others. I won't be listing any positives.
The mouse noticeably lags on bluetooth mode. Constantly disconnecting, erasing profiled, and often refusing to even boot up. The battery level feature doesn't work, the base just stays red all of the time. It's like it forgets the profile or something... Read More
The scrolling is very inconsistent. The whole gimmick is to have a scroll wheel you can program yourself.

The naga pro v2 is certainly neat/unique, but in my opinion not worth anywhere near $180.
In my opinion, it's not really worth paying the higher price unless your old naga pro is failing somehow.
And the price point is spot on.

Background i have gone through two naga chromas two naga trinitys and one naga pro v1 since 2017 they each lasted roughly two years before starting to have issues
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
The trinity and earlier chroma versions had issues witht he left click switchbutton waearing out over time the naga pro v1 the switches were fine but the scroll wheel started to scroll in the opposite direction and not register scrollclicks after two years but the leftrightclick was still fine

Not so welcome is that the cable is sleeved instead of braided so it looks cheaper and the sleeve bunches up in places because it is longer than the cable itself

When paying double the price of the last gen naga pro v1 roughly 80 this seems like a step in the wrong direction when shelling out 180 for the new version

My review after using it for a week so far its leaning to the gimmicky side but with some razer synapse improvements it could be made better with software updates

For gaming i tend to keep it in 34distinct34 mode which has high scroll tension and only 15 34scroll steps34 so with a normal finger length scroll it will only cycle between weapons for example about 5 times
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Now if i switch over to excel and want to scroll through rows of data that would be quite tedious and with the higher tension quite a finger workout so you can swap the scrolling mode into ultrafine or even smooth scroll mode and get way more scroll steps per revolution of the scroll wheel
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
There is no true frictionless unlimited spin scrolling mode where the scroll wheel will keep rolling after you 34fling34 it in a direction
