Another option open to memight have to buy another mic arm and experiment by replacing the mic element with anoise canceling electret condenser mic element

Electret condenser mic elements need a power source aaa battery and a simple circuit tofilter the power from going into the computer or cell phones mic line yet giving superiorcharacteristics which a dynamic mic could never achieve
