Pros & Cons
Pros
Rca phone has a single long handset cord. The coiled end plugs into the handset. The long uncoiled section of the handset cord is made to be clipped into strain reliefs on the bottom side of the base unit. The ringer is not too loud.
Simple, easy landline for garage use, has nice quality tone. Am using as door entry intercom & to buzz inside.
Cons
There is not plug on the base to connect the handset. The bottom feel hollow. Sound has static, only 1 cord from handset to phone outlet so have to wind cord to bottom base and then to outlet.
Highlights
Quality
Great rca quality as expected at a good price.

Can't attest to the phone's call quality or intended use properties.
Base is just a holder - all the works are in the handset.
Price
This phone saved me the cost of an hour flight plus travel or the cost of dispatching a 3rd party to troubleshoot the line.
