Pros

House is 40+ miles from the broadcast towers, there are hills and high rises in between, and i don't have roof access. Two are just under 50 miles from tx and both pick up the channels with no problem.

It works as advertised. Tried other antennas over the years. Powered and unpowered, the rca is the best option for me.

Cons

Quality of the antenna is substandard. No identifying info on product that remember, looks different from pic on box. Boxed everything back up and sending back today.

The coax jack breaks very easily when bolting it to the nuts so that made the antenna useless. The matching transformer is cylindrical so even without the rivet head, it would not sit against the beam securely.

The picture quality is excellent and once we got the antenna oriented in the correct position we we getting a 95% to 98% signal strength.

And i’m very surprised how good the picture quality is.

The only way to overcome the curvature of the earth is with height.

It still does the job, but the build quality just isn't what is used to be.

It also has a flat dipole uhf driven element instead of the oval winegard 'tetrapole' driven element used on the original model.
