This antenna works great. It has a usb port that i can connect a external hard drive to and walla, you have a dvr. And 1 of the newer dvr+ or cm7500. Na na na na, not so fast.

The retro kit is basically a vhf antenna rod, that has a built in combiner. With included in-line amplifier, this gives me great reception. Mounted on an old direct tv stand on our garage roof, ran an old cable cord from it to the cable box and bam.

Cons

Very flaky. Doesn't work passively. Supposedly this is omnidirectional which is why i bought it.
