Pros & Cons
Pros
Good addition to tv antenna. It has switchable fm trap which is great when you are located really close to a fm broadcast transmitter. Always use a high quality coaxial cable as well like a heavily shielded rg6 coax cable.
Highlights
Quality
Works great at the antenna with 1 foot cord then plug it in before splitter works great pulls in more ota channels
I was surprised by the improvement in video quality.
The first one lost signal strength and dropped a few channels after almost 5 years of use.
All preamp boosters are prone to failure due to close proximity of lightning both cloud to cloud and cloud to ground.
Price
I was impressed so by this inexpensive amp that i bought another for my second home in florida.
For the cost this is an excellent product with good performance to cost ratio.
Anyone with long coax run or the budget should invest in something like a televes preamp.
This one does pretty good especially considering cost.
Competitiveness
It helped me get channels that were near 15db mer to 20+ and better channels to nearly 30 mer.
This preamp definitely helped out a lot combined with a cheap tcl roku tv.
I couldn't find the same channel master product, but this one looked like the same thing.
Some do that job better than others, this one falls into the acceptable category.
