The filter needs to be cleaned frequently which is the only downside because it will not run unless the filter is clean

The overall construction is somewhat flimsy and pulling the small water container out regularly would be a hassle and i would be surprised if it did not breakhowever the hose attachment is simple and secure so if thats your preferred connection method it should be fine

I used to run a kenmore 70 pint dehumidifier but after 2 years it fail to run i think motor locked up then i took my moms 70 pint kenmore same model that one also died fairly quickly will only run for 5 min no water comes out gets hot and turns off
