Pros

This is the second player i've bought like this. The sound is clear, not muffled or distorted. Children's or adult's books on tape are very easy to listen too.

Cons

It's very cheaply made and works so poorly (especially when compared to garden variety models prevalent in the early 80's), that it's utterly worthless. Every cassette recorder i've purchased in the last several years is complete garbage!
