Pros & Cons
Pros
Runs forever on a set of batteries. This is a rugged radio that you could use as a night table/bedside radio.
When this baby gets something right, it's darn good for a unit at this price. Another advantage to purchasing this new radio is the price. This is the 3rd super radio 3 we have.
Cons
The radio they are sending now (8-2009) is a heavy but cheap plastic radio with low end components. At the price, it is not worth sending back. This is now just a cheap radio charging a price to unsuspecting customers. Ended up returning the product f... Read More
Am reception is poor, inferior to much cheaper radios. Fm reception is mediocre, but usable. Turner is stuck in between stations, permanently.

Quality
Good quality sound with excellent base & treble tuning.
Separate bass/treble allows for the best sound quality for any ear.
Headphone jack is made for stereo headphones so you get sound out of both ears even with am (mono) signals.
The battery cover in back was impossible to keep shut.
Price
Com and i did see it priced as low as 35 dollars ages ago.
I used to check the price of the radio on amazon.
My first ge superradio was cheap, not over 50 dollars.
Shipping
Fast ship, good product, very pleased .
The shipping was free and very fast.
Packaging/appearance
Radio arrived in excellent condition with all necessary parts and information.
Competitiveness
Can't compare to the ge superradios because i never owned one.
I would think the c crane brand would have better quality control and last longer than the rca superradio.
People make interesting comments comparing the old ge radio with the newer rca model.
