The adapter is a great idea for playing vhs-c tapes in your regular vcr but mine stuck in the vcr every time i used it. Added the battery and nothing.

The moving parts occasionally not much get suck when inserting a vhsc cassette in it but a small nudge will keep it moving but i just assumed it did that because of how old it is

They rely on 100 mechanical operation and it makes the tape bind up when trying to deploy it

I converted about 25 cassettes to dvd and not one time did the rca adapter fault
