Pros

Headset has 3 broadcast channels. Reception even through walls. Static is easily fixed by turning volume on headset to very low setting and using remote.

The replacement appear to be sturdier and the wireless sound is impeccable. The sound quality is ok for voice, movies, etc. Range is better than blue tooth.

Cons

Headphone can't be adjusted to fit individual head sizes. Cradle is not a charging cradle. When i am nearby and move my head it clicks or disappears.

Instructions come with zero information about how to seek technical support. I wish i could buy these at nordstrom or costco who would replace and refund any product any time – no return window.

Power switch is flimsy. You have to fiddle with it and prop it in different positions to get it to make connection and hope that connection lasts all night or until the batteries have recharged. The 2019 version is unusable.

But it's not. This is so disappointing especially given how good they once were. Very disappointing reception this time.
