But every once in a while i have to read something very small and i got frustrated that i could never find that one pair of reading glasses that i bought or when i did find them they were broken

The glasses were bought for a dear friend who cant keep up with his reading glasses and his glasses are usually easily destroyed because so poorly constructed

However like all plastic lenses these should not be cleaned with chemicals only water

The advantage of the plastic frame is that the lenses are solidly mounted and impossible to pop out

Ive also used metal frame readers but these are prone to getting bent if youre not careful which can cause the lenses to pop out of the frame and getting them to pop back in and stay in is pretty hopeless
