This book is worth every penny and then some. The author offers the text at an extremely affordable price. Jay cummings created this book so that text book prices wouldn't be a barrier of entry for people trying to learn math.
If you're a like-minded student, this is perfect for you. The goal is to teach fully and smoothly.

It's to the point and does exactly as it aims to do; and, it's cheap! Lastly, the attrition rate in a course of this sort is frightening.
It has many jokes (truly lol'd a few times) the book attempts to explain the ideas behind the theorems, definitions, corollaries, and proofs. Each footnote contains interesting comments along with additional commentary on harder topics.
Cons
For someone working on their own - this seems almost cruel. This certainly wasn't expected given the glowing reviews. There are no solutions on the textbook website.

Rudin motivates no understanding and is far more suitable for a second or third pass at real analysis.
While it is laid out like abbott’s understanding analysis, it doesn’t have the same walls of text that math textbooks are infamous for.

A hidden gem… i do very much appreciate the authors efforts in keeping the cost down.

Received it a few minutes ago and it was a lot bigger than i expected!
Packaging/appearance
The back of the book came damaged, it looks like it was bent on some parts and some of the back pages look a bit bent.
Competitiveness
For example, i also have abbott and rudin, both of which i also like for different reasons.
They have set a precedent that would be good for other authors and publishers to follow.

This is in stark contrast to the presentation in many other books where a pretentious “polished” proof is shown with absolutely no hint as to how it was actually derived in the first place
