Pros

This is a nut oil, and it non toxic and no bad smell, a bit nutty smell if any. During application it gives off a strong odor but after it dries, it goes away.

The tung oil is good and does not have any fumes. Seems to soak into the wicker fine.

Cons

Tung oil slowly oxidizes. As it oxidizes it becomes less effective and loses any sheen it might have temporarily had. It is greasy and collects dust as it never really fully cures. It seems the container has a leak, oil, everywhere.
