Pros & Cons
Pros
The lithium ion rechargeable aa batteries are of high quality and carry as much charge as a standard nimh battery. They work great as rechargeable batteries but the real reason to get this is that you can charge them with a standard usb-c cable and no... Read More
The batteries are great. They have all performed flawlessly. Highly recommend.
My only complaint is that the included usb charge cord can only charge two batteries at a time. I have a music keyboard that i like to practice on and it works with either a cord or with batteries. Tested 2 separately with 2.
Cons
They die quicker than any rechargeable battery we have. The product listing says that it's 550 mwh, which is a trick that vendors use to suggest that their product is better than it is. Description states higher voltage due to lithium but we've found ... Read More
No obvious charging/charged light on the batteries, only indication is a faint blue glow inside the type c port. Also, this is not a usb c slot (only the shape is, charging is still slow).
These batteries are simply not as advertised. However, the capacity is embarrassingly bad. Clearly these are junk.
The actual capacity is laughably bad. Most cells use mah ratings, so if you're just skimming numbers, you might be deceived. The batter on the left is one i did not use, for comparison.
Highlights
Quality
Much easier to charge with usb ports and charging indicators within each battery, than dealing with an external charging device
These batteries are really great and last a good bit for what i need them for.
I use one in a multimeter and one on standby and i've gotten 29 days from full charge to dead battery on the one in the meter a... Read More
This is where lithium rechargeable really shine as voltage stays constant until they are dead (both good and bad) .
Price
Burn through batteries like crazy, so i wanted to try these to save $.
Good value, wish the charging cord was longer.
I figure if i recharge them 3-4 times that’ll be my break even point to justify the cost.
Shipping
Ordered 4 needed 3 for my automatic trash can lid, delivery was quick.
They charged pretty quickly, unfortunately i don't know the exact time.
Competitiveness
We actually ended up buying another size from this company/brand and they work just as well.
