Pros
It's large enough for a few people to have a picnic on the grass. It's big for a family of 6 adults, and kept our others blankets on top dry, so we feel very comfortable.
When folded it's much heavier than i anticipated but when it lays flat it's got good heft.
Cons
This is not a blanket, it's a tarp. There is nothing (no padding or fabric) between the waterproof outdoor fabric and the heavy plastic tarp underside.
It's pretty, looks durable and quality, so i was shocked and dissapointed that the lining and handle were so poorly sewed on. Such a disappointment.
