For a subaru forester it does not switch off right away but after about two or three minutes

The downside of placing high up on the dash is that the light from the blue display can be distracting during night driving so lower and out of the way may be better

Ordered this after i found out that the fuse hardwiring kit wasnt long enough for my vehicle since the fuse box i needed to use was in the back mercedes
