The viewfinder was blurred intentionally, and then brought back to sharpness. The display is very clear, and the 7x magnification is very helpful. I like the way it brightens the view which makes it easy to spot the flag.
This is not used in golf but may come in handy for other uses. It comes with an instruction guide, but is fairly easy to operate right out of the box. Super easy to use and seems super durable.

Super easy to use and seems super durable.
Good size and seems to be well built.
The magnet is so strong on the golf cart frame it feels like it has been attached with gorilla glue.
Part of this could be due to having to press the measurement button (which is the power button) and my hand was wiggling around.
Price
Much better than i had expected for the price point.
This is a great little range finder for the price.
If you want a laser to improve your golf game but cannot justify the expense, you have a terrific option available with this product.
Long ago they were so expensive and yet way less practical than this one.
Shipping
The unit returned 50-60 mph and there was no way cars were going that fast.
The range finder was received and put on a charger to come to a full charge.
Packaging/appearance
It is elegantly packaged, great feel in my hand, and well appointed.
It arrives in a shrink wrap sealed box—the laser and the case are in a small bag, with a microfiber dusting cloth included.
Competitiveness
The unit was tested against other brands of range finders that are accurate, and found to be as accurate.
This is an excellent rangerfinder which rivals other high-end models at a much more reasonable cost.
Yardage seems to be within a yard or less of others with more expensive name brand range finders.
The price is also high in comparison to others that have better quality.

One thing that may not be intuitive is the unit has a focusing ring around the back aperture which can be turned one way or another to put your target in focus
