The ones with the fixed strap are more comfortable and cushioning. The bottle opener is hard and probably not the best idea grinding on stuf. Velcro scratches the top of my feet and toes no matter what i adjust.

The sole is on the firmer side so if you are looking for a softer feel this may not be the shoe for you
