That being said i did take these to dc with me last week and while they provide an adequate amount of comfort for 34 hours of shopping i would not recommend them for 34 miles of walking

The straps get uncomfortable and begin cutting into your feet and the arch support just doesnt cut it

If like me you take a 12 size i recommend do not order the size up

However i wish they offered these in a lighter leather color perhaps in a distressed chocolate brown these are super dark like an oiled brown
