You first fill the pod and then gently press the coffee with the packing spoon clean the side of the capsule close the lid and put it into the machine allowing for a consistent no spoon was supplied the description referred to a packing spoon to load the coffee to the pod you dont need an engineering degree to work it out but there isnt a brief instruction notee
