This gate does the trick. It's very hard to find a wide gate that feel sturdy enough to handle a high traffic area. Needed a gate to keep the little doggos from going in the kitchen.

It's nice for the expansion it has but not toddler proof at all. The extension piece is weak and my 1-year-old can get through it with a little bit of a shove. Would check twice before ordering.
