Pros
The quality is good, sturdy and the gate looks nice. I love that it was easy to install and it is really tall. Adhere to this gate that we’ve placed on the stairs.
It is very sturdy! My cat is a maine *, he's a big boy! The latch & lock are durable and when set up correctly do a good job of letting the dogs know where they can and cannot go.
It latches really nicely! Lock is easy to use. The latch is secure and i like the spring lock. It’s easy to open and unlock.
Cons
This latch requires you to actively lock it and unlock it every time you use it. The pin to hold the door in isn't removable once you build it, so now it doesn't even fit back in the box for me to return it.
These gates seem cheaply made and even with the * in mounting cups are flimsy. The instructions while being in 5 different languages are ridiculously minimal. Please do not waste your money and purchase a sturdier gate.

The gate itself does not fully support the wider door frame, despite being expandable, and does not close well.
Price
Not a huge deal for us because it’s to keep a pup out but a toddler strength would be a safety concern.
