The odd dimensions and the lack of a functional locking mechanism are dealbreakers. Much more problematically, the latching mechanism on my unit is defective. The latch does not open with one hand, it requires two.

They are sturdy as he likes to hold onto the bars and shake it to get it to fall.
I have had this gate for 3+ years and it still works great and is still in perfect condition!
His head fit through at the bottom where it widens, and he raised it up, which then caused him to choke and gasp for air.
Three stickers and one was half as long as the gate itself and on both sides!

It should not have to take twice as long to remove the ugly stickers that are all over this gate as it does to assemble it

The other two came off after using a hair dryer but the big one peeled off in layers leaving a sticky gooey mess

I understand it’s a liability issue in this sad litigious world we live in but you can at least make the stickers easy to take off

I used aftermarket rubber cups on the ends instead of the ridiculous hard plastic mounting cups that were provided

No way am l drilling holes in my walls when you can use a rubber cup just as easily
