Since our water heater is on a 30amp 240volt circuit breaker the 60 amp circuit breakers in this device for my installation serve only as a switch

If your application actually needs the breaker function rather than just a switch it can be converted to a lower amperage by replacing both circuit breakers with lower rated eaton style 240 volt breakers

Although the cf270 70 amp cf280 80 amp cf290 90 amp cf2100 100 amp and cf2110 110 amp breakers would technically “fit” the panel itself is rated for a maximum of 60 amps
